Welcome! Hi, I'm Allie the heart behind Suburban Opossum - where my love of homemade goods meets your cozy living. Born and raised in and around Austin, Texas, I've always been drawn to the comforts of baking and creating by hand. After earning my doctorate in education, I returned to baking as a way to ground myself. What started as a hobby quickly turned into a local favorite, and with a little nudge (okay, begging) from friends and neighbors, Suburban Opossum was born. I like to think of it as a cozy little corner of handmade goods, equal parts heartfelt and feral—just like me.
